Vijay Vivek is a renowned Punjabi poet and ghazal writer who has made significant contributions to Punjabi literature. He was born on June 15, 1957, in Ratti Rori village, Faridkot district. Carrying forward the tradition of the great Punjabi ghazal poet Surjit Patar, Vijay Vivek has earned a special place in Punjabi literature with his profound and meaningful ghazals and poems. His poetry is characterized by emotional depth, beautiful imagery, and a sensitive portrayal of various aspects of life.  
According to him, "Poetry is not written; it emerges from a dormant instinct, and presenting it with beautiful metaphors to the audience is the hallmark of a good poet."
